DOS Labs x Flazers Workshop: Exploring the World Behind MetaDOS
Young gamers and eSports club leaders gathered at MetaDOS to explore the real world behind game development — where passion turns into action.
On May 15, the MetaDOS office in Ho Chi Minh City was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed nearly 30 enthusiastic young participants — including university students passionate about gaming, representatives from Uni Esports Clubs across multiple universities, and members of the Flazers community who have registered for the upcoming MetaDOS Summer Cup (MSC 2025). Together, they explored what it’s really like behind the scenes of a game development studio.

In a vibrant and friendly atmosphere, attendees had the chance to witness firsthand how a game is developed — from concept ideation, gameplay design, and character creation to operations and community building. Beyond the tour, they also listened to insightful sharing sessions from the MetaDOS team about exciting career opportunities in the gaming industry — a rapidly growing sector in Vietnam and across Southeast Asia.
💬 An Insightful Conversation with Mr. Quang Nguyễn, CEO of DOS Labs
A major highlight of the workshop was an intimate conversation with Mr. Quang Nguyễn, CEO of DOS Labs. His inspiring talk left a strong impression on the students:
“DOS Labs is a fully Vietnamese studio, with a 100% local team. We believe that Vietnamese talent is more than capable of creating high-quality games that can be proudly showcased on the global stage. MetaDOS is our first step on that journey.”
“At MetaDOS, the player is always at the center of our development strategy. Partnering with Flazers — a vibrant and influential eSports community — is a crucial move that allows us to reach and connect with passionate gamers more deeply. This is not just a standard partnership; it’s a clear testament to our long-term commitment to building a strong and inclusive gaming community, where players can grow, shine, and truly belong."
"Our World Tour journey will begin with a series of Mini Tournaments hosted across Vietnam — nurturing and spotlighting young eSports talents and empowering Vietnamese gamers to step onto the international eSports stage.”
🎤 A Word from Mr. Quí Nguyễn – Representative of Flazers
Mr. Quí Nguyễn, representing Flazers, also shared his thoughts:
“Seeing the vision and dedication of MetaDOS’s founding team, Flazers is excited to collaborate and contribute to growing the MetaDOS player community. In the near future, we hope to discover promising new talents — including those participating in today’s workshop — who may one day compete in the MetaDOS World Tour.”
🤝 Strong Support from the Student Community
The event also sparked lively conversations among students and Uni Esports Club members, who expressed admiration for the professional and creative working environment at MetaDOS. For many, this was their first-ever experience stepping into a real game studio, and they left feeling deeply inspired to pursue careers in game development.
"As a Vietnamese gamer, I'm truly proud to see a project like MetaDOS being built right here in Vietnam. Choosing this country as the starting point is not just a strategic move — it's a sign that you truly care about listening to local players and growing with us. That openness and respect is what makes us feel seen, heard, and motivated to support MetaDOS even more in the future."
🚀 Writing the Next Chapter of MetaDOS — Together
As the workshop concluded, many attendees eagerly signed up to become MetaDOS testers — directly contributing to the development of a truly Vietnamese-made game. DOS Labs hopes to continue engaging with student communities, gamers, and tech enthusiasts through more initiatives like this in the future.
